James P. Hannon

Executive Vice President, Operations. Jim came to Parkside from Missouri State Bank where he served as Vice President of Operations. Jim keeps his focus on the day-to-day operations and technological requirements of the entire organization. He received his BSBA from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Andrew Hereford

Andrew S. Hereford

President, Commercial Banking and Co-Founder. Andrew served as Executive Vice President of United Missouri Bank in St. Louis after spending 15 years at Southwest Bank, where he eventually became Senior Vice President. He currently resides on the boards of City Academy and Hereford Concrete Products, Incorporated. In addition to completing the Commercial Lending School program in Norman, Oklahoma, he received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.

Derek Laur

Derek J. Laur

Vice President, Commercial Banking. Derek focuses on commercial real estate, tax credits and general industries. He comes to Parkside from Bank of America, where he specialized in commercial real estate loans. Derek received his BSBA from Washington University in St. Louis, where he majored in marketing and business management.

Alex McMullin

Alexander D. McMullin

Commercial Banker. Alex is a member of the commercial lending team where he develops new client relationships and markets the capabilities of Parkside Financial while meeting the banking needs of privately-held middle market companies. He was previously a financial analyst at Parkside Financial. Alex received his bachelor’s degree from Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Mike Murphy

Michael F. Murphy

Executive Vice President, Senior Lender. Mike has been in commercial banking in St. Louis for over 20 years. As Senior Lender, Mike oversees all activity involving credit risk management and commercial lending. Mike received both his BSBA and MBA from Saint Louis University.

Mady Ott

Madelyn L. Ott

Senior Vice President, Private Banking. Mady specializes in private banking and retail lending, especially for Parkside’s wealth management clients and business owners. She gained her experience while at Bank of America for 19 years and most recently at The Private Bank, where she was an Associate Managing Director.

Kevin Prunty

Kevin T. Prunty

Vice President, Commercial Banking. Kevin focuses on serving middle market companies and private equity groups along with structured finance for mergers, acquisitions and recapitalizations. Most recently, Kevin served as Finance Director at Caparo Group. Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President at Southwest Bank. He received his BSBA from Washington University in St. Louis.

Vice President, Commercial Banking. Prior to Parkside, Andy was a commercial banker with Southwest Bank. Andy focuses on debt instruments, deposit products and treasury management products for privately-held middle market businesses and private equity groups. After receiving his BSBA from University of Missouri-Columbia, he earned his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.

Emily Schwetye

Commercial Banker. Emily is a member of the commercial lending team where she develops new client relationships and markets the capabilities of Parkside Financial while meeting the banking needs of privately-held middle market companies. She was previously a financial analyst at Parkside Financial. Emily received her bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

Carla Valenti

Carla J. Valenti

Executive Vice President, Commercial Lending. Carla’s primary areas of focus involve commercial lending to privately held middle market businesses, construction lending and lending to contractors. Prior to joining Parkside, she served as group manager and Senior Vice President in the commercial lending division of Southwest Bank after spending nine years as President of Missouri State Bank, Sunset Hills. Carla earned both a BSBA and BA from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri.

James C. Wagner

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder. Prior to starting Parkside, Jim spent 19 years with Enterprise Financial Services Corporation, parent company for Enterprise Bank & Trust, where he eventually served as CFO prior to becoming Executive Vice President. He is currently on the board of directors of the St. Louis Crisis Nursery. Jim received his bachelor’s degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
